We booked Jade as our officiant & MC for our wedding at Brooklyn Winery this summer and she did an amazing job! I love that she took some time to get to know both of us to write a custom speech for the ceremony and she was so helpful with our parents' speeches, the tea ceremony, and even reception games. She's also just a lovely person and so sweet!
Jade was my bilingual (Cantonese/English) tea ceremony officiant who also help interpret for my family. She was great and very knowledgeable. She easily navigated issues we had on the day of the wedding and was very communicative. During the calls before the actual tea ceremony, she reassured us and answered any cultural questions we had. I was on the fence on hiring a translator/tea officiant, but i think this was the most thoughtful thing I could've done for my family and guests. I highly recommend Jade!
I honestly could not imagine our wedding ceremony without Jade! We found her on instagram while looking for a bilingual officiant. She is so personable, professional, and organized. Jade officiated my wedding, which had an intimate bilingual (Cantonese and English) ceremony in Santa Barbara. I already knew Jade from taking her amazing Cantonese zoom classes through Inspirlang. It was so important to us to find someone that would act as a bridge between my Cantonese speaking mom, and our wedding. From translating our vows, to translating for all our guests, and keeping my mom company while my sister and I were running around like headless chickens, to connecting my mom with all the other moms, including my mother-in-law, to helping my mom take phone photos of the wedding...
