I deal with a number of doctors and physicians on a daily basis in my profession, and I have never been spoken to so rudely as I was by Dr. Jacqueline Smartt. I was simply following up on some paperwork we were waiting to receive from her, as a family we are helping asked me to do, and I followed the protocol that we use with every other physician. This was our first appointment and first impressions are hard to get over this one will be lasting. She chose not to listen to the patient or the patient advocate. We have found well checks to be unnecessary so we save our CO payment and do not run up unnecessary profit margins for Drs and that seemed to upset her. She told the patient (a Young lady trying to learn how to navigate the ugly world) that a symptom to the issue that brought us to the office was her fault because she didn't want to take vitamins.
