Disappointed, I was only calling to see if she could evaluate my 3 year old and instead talks to me about sending her to some state program. All she had to say is that she isn't interested. I would ve respected that more coming from a professional.
I saw Dr Napper a few years ago and now looking back I realize I paid to be gaslighted on a weekly basis. According to her none of my experiences happened. She recommended that I lose weight to improve my social life although I was only a size 10 as a 19 year old girl who already had self esteem issues. She dismissed the side effects I had from antidepressants and gave horrible advice. Advice that any decent person wouldn’t give, let alone a licensed psychologist.
Dr Napper is very professional, compassionate and realistic. She listens to you as she gets to understand where you're coming from first. Her sessions are thorough and not rushed. She first makes you feel comfortable.
