Walhalla is amazing. The cottage was fine for the two of us. It’s old, quaint and has some beautiful trees and garden Sitting in the valley it’s cold and due to the age of the cottage, was hard to heat, especially as we could not get the wood fire to draw (we have one at home so know how it works). Also, had we been able to get the slow combustion heater to go, there wasn’t enough wood supplied for more than a night and no wood for sale in town. Lovely cottage over 100 years old. Building and facilities in very good condition. Warm cosy vibe.
