We traveled special to visit tasting room during spring break for our foodie tour and it was a long car ride for an underwhelming experience. No parking and tons of construction going on. Save yourself the trip and buy Jacobsen Salt at another location.
If Lewis & Clark were alive today, they would say, "We've gone too FAR for expensive sea salt." Sacagawea would not approve!
They have really good carmel’s. I wasn’t super impressed with the service. They were nice, but they weren’t great with answering questions, as far as certain products. Everything we bought tasted good, but, as far as help goes, I wasn’t super impressed.
Jacobsen Salt Co. is a fantastic stop on the Oregon coast. It’s a small gift shop, but it’s packed with just about every type of salt you can imagine. Simple, focused, and done really well. Before this visit, we’d never heard of Jacobsen Salt. After stopping in, it was easy to see why people talk about it.
