We stopped one night at the top of the range "Orchard" accommodation which consisted of very large lounge with a bedroom with 4 poster bed and ensuite bathroom. With temperature around 40c it was great to head for the outdoor swimming pool and chat to the other guests. This place is good for visiting the numerous vintages in the area . We only meet one staff member, the gardener, he was very supportive and I would like to thank him again for his help. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and the Orchard suite was perfect.
I booked 2 months in advance on their Barossa short stays website, when they didn’t charge my account I was worried it would cause issues but all was fine and they took the room cost a few days before my stay. The property is as beautiful and expansive as the pictures look. That pool on a 38 degree day was like heaven. And no kids around! I think because the rooms are all only queen beds? Would have used the bbq but honestly the flies were a little excessive, probably not as bad when the weather is cooler. I enjoyed walking ... read more
A beautiful retreat to stay at. There are four separate cottages on beautiful grounds. The grounds have numerous fountains, swimming pool, barbeques and fire pits. Our cottage has a king size bed, and bathroom has a large shower and a sunken spa. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Quiet, spacious, beautiful surroundings. Well worth the stay
