When my wife of 19 years blindsided me with the news that she wanted a divorce, I was scared that I'd be sleeping in my car. Jamie Berger assured me of what was actually happening, and allowed me to properly face the process. Jamie never asked for anything that was petty or spiteful, just fought was what was just and legal. She had my back, and I will never forget how that made me feel. I had an incredibly frustrating experience working with Amanda P. Johnston. As a father, I sought legal representation to ensure that both my rights and, most importantly, my children’s rights were properly advocated for during a custody dispute. I couldn't be more disappointed with Jacobs Berger services. Divorce is a painful and traumatic process, where you need a lawyer who you can trust and make this process easier. Jamie Berger was my "lawyer". In our first meeting we went through my situation and I asked her all my rights as well I asked her to guide me during the process. Jamie helped me address some difficult and complicated situations. She and her firm did an amazing job. I am grateful for her honesty, candidness, as well as her ability to seek settlement. Although I sought her out specifically for her expertise, she also provided a healthy dose of humanity. Something I have found to be pretty rare in her area of practice. Where do I start. Sarah Jacobs is an amazing lawyer. I was referred to Sarah after the attorney I had, was just not going to be powerful enough to handle my ex husband and his attorney.
