BEWARE!! Called to seek info about my mentally impaired mother from her attorney, I am out of state. I have spoken to him before about her standing with the courts. Jacob Levin helped me to obtain guardianship of my niece. My case was an unusual situation. Jacob was extremely helpful, he took time to walk me through the process and answer all my questions. I must have called 15 attorneys in the Redding area before I got Jacob's name. None of them were willing to help me, but Jacob did. If you need an attorney you need to call Jacob Levin!
My experience with Jacob Levin as my family court lawyer was mediocre at best. Altho Mr. Levin is very friendly and seemingly empathetic, he did the bare minimum from the beginning, and it got worse as time passed. Jacob Levin did zero follow up on any of the paperwork filings that he was hired to oversee in my case. Eventually he abandoned my case entirely with no warning.
