I came to Dr Sams for my trigger thumb. I had been given a corticosteroid shot which only helped temporarily. When I requested surgery instead of a repeat shot, I was told he doesn't do hand surgery and was referred to a plastic surgeon. What kind of orthopedic surgeon doesn't do a simple surgery? I'm going to the other hand surgeon in town who does.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Sams and his entire team. I had a horrible fall on ice in January which resulted in a spiral fracture of my left humerus. It was excruciating and terrifying. My first doctor did not help to make me feel any better about the recovery process. I called Dr. Sams for a second opinion, and it was by far the best decision. Dr Sam's performed a total arthroplasty (hip replacement) on me. Couldn't walk before now I'm super active and pain free. I ride my bicycle almost everyday and I love to dance. Saved my life. Thank you so much.
