Dr Almeida is a very caring , kind and understanding Doctor . We started seeing him when my mother in law was in the hospital , We were getting nowhere with Doctor at the time . He listened to her and helped her to understand things better . She passed away in 2017 , He was very quick in getting things done and getting hospice for her . I started see him at the same time ,, he is patient and takes an interest and listens . I would recommend him to any one .
Dr. Almeida is very attentive and listens. He also provides quality answers and does not shy away from saying what needs to be said. I have no problem asking him any question and I know I’ll get the right answer.
I don't forsee ever needing to change physicians, he's kind , has an excellent bedside manner and likable. He very caring and thourough.
Dr. Almeida took my 92 yr old father who was barely hanging on and turned his life around by treating him with dignity, patience, kindness and always listening to him attentively. Responding to him as the grown man he was and never treated him as a child as so many had in his past. He got my dad into physical and occupational therapy; daily exercises gained back much strength he had lost. He thrived under Dr. Almeida's care. My mother in law, who has end stage Alzheimer's, has been seeing Dr. Almeida since she moved in with us. He has an excellent "bed side manner" and is always extremely helpful. He actually listens to her (which is hard since she can't speak well and doesn't remember most words) and makes her feel comfortable. Dr Almeida is deeply concerned about you as his patient. He thinks how best to coordinate your care with his network of specialists. Example: I told him about how I awoke prematurely during my last colonoscopy. He scheduled a consultation for my upcoming colonoscopy. That was very thoughtful. He listened and heard my fears.
Dr Almeida listens to his patients and gets to know them by doing so. He is my favorite doctor in all my 76 years. My husband is his patient also. We both feel confident in his recommendations and feel blessed to have him as our doctor.
