I agree with previous reviewers who said Dr Klapper is too arrogant. I had an awful experience with him and his staff. I had symptoms that suggest a hiatal hernia. His office required a manometry, barium swallow and ph impedance studies before they would even schedule my consult with him. I begged them to consider an endoscopy because I didn’t think I could compete the painful tests with tubes in my throat while I’ve been having choking problems. Lord forbid if you have any health issue requiring a visit with this cocky over confident lousy bedside manner surgeon. This surgeon had the personality of a pompous jerk lacking any ideal skills in communication. My husband was given no sincere usable communication with meeting with him and our family to be explained the surgery he was recommending. As a recent surgical patient of Dr klapper, I am 100% pleased with his pre evaluation and post operative results. A doctor whom is precise with his words and accurate. Very impressive.
