I had an appointment to get established with Dr. Pohlers, I really like her and her nurse! They took time and were both very thorough! Dr. Pohlers also has a great bedside manner!
Dr. Pohlers has been awesome! She sits with me and explains things clearly. When I asked for a particular treatment that I’d had in the past (prior to Covid-19) how things had changed since. She gave me the option to use it or try something different. When I have messaged her through the Cox portal she has been quick to respond (not instantly and I didn’t expect that!). I really do appreciate her thoroughness and her attitude.

My father has been seeing her for years and is in rapid decline with memory impairment. Even the Walmart employees see this and this Dr apparently doesn’t care to initiate a conversation and get him evaluated. We tried switching his Dr and he went back to her because he gets his pills. That’s all she does, get him pills and send him on his way. I will now have to figure out other ways to get him evaluated and his health actually dealt with before he hurts himself.
