Memorial in Springfield is a whole lot better. Less wait time. Found out what was wrong then after 4 or 5 trips to jacksonville.

Waited over three hours vomiting with a bleeding ulcer. Over 2/3rds of the er rooms were empty when I was taken for a blood draw. They passed over a 92 year old woman and also an 81 year old man who was complaining of severe leg pain and a possible blood clot after surgery. They passed over all of us, the one person I saw them take into the actual er and not triage in the three hours I was there was a man who was able to briskly walk with the nurse while cheerily telling her he was in a softball tournament in Iowa yesterday ... read more

I can't say enough about how great the staff was. I arrived with my daughter that was extremely ill and they took very good care of her, we did not have to wait at all before they got her back to a room .I just want to say thank you to the nurses and doctor!
