Took a 2005 Astro van into Jacksons auto in July of 2023 with 153K miles on it. A/C had worked up till then. They charged me $550 and it lasted till next spring. Took it back and they charged me $955 and it lasted till the following spring. Went in this July and they wanted $3250 to fix it. I seemed to have 3 parts that needed to be changed.
