JackSons', or Sons of Jack, was born as a tribute to the late father of Andy and Dave Dalton. Jack Dalton was co-owner of Thurmers Tavern when it opened in 1954. Known for their steaks and being St. louis' original "sports bar", Thurmers became a south St. Louis landmark.
