Dr McKnight performed a Cystoscopy on me due to the results of a MRI report. As he explained to me that there wasn't anything visibly found during the procedure to biopsy...that was great news! I appreciated his expertise in saying that the mass on my left kidney is still undiagnosed and will require a biopsy to get to the accurate understanding of whether it's malignant or not. After I found a place to park and went inside I noticed how clean it was inside, but it was kind of cold in the waiting area.
she asked how did I know I have a uti. I have interstitial cystitis for 32 years and I know my body. I go to my regular doctor and take a urine test That's how a person knows and by your symptoms . I felt like she didn't understand or have knowledge what IC is and I told her im not able to hold my urine very long or I will get a UTI. She said she's never heard of that! Taylor Smith, PA is worthless and dismissive. My grandmother was recently seen by him for kidney stones that have been confirmed by x ray & CT. He did nothing for her and told her this could be arthritis and to see a pain specialist. When I called and requested for her to be seen by the MD, the receptionist told me no, she can’t sense she has seen the PA. She was seen by a different urology clinic and is now scheduled for a lithotripsy. This is borderline neglect and a delay in care on the PAs part.
