Do not send your family member to this hospital unless you want them to die. This hospital was suppose to do a simple surgery on my mother in law. Surgeon takes a break 3 hours in. Wow. Then 8 days post op she goes down hill. Try to get her transferred and they lay on their butts doing nothing to help her get to Baptist in Paducah. Then they are hateful about it all. By far the worst experience I have EVER had in an Emergency Room. I had been sick for 2 weeks. I thought I had a virus and my body would fight it off naturally. But after 2 two weeks and waking up in the middle of the night feeling like my body was shutting down, my husband took me in. When we got there the triage nurse Teresa was wonderful. The doctor I have been seeing is great!! However,the billing department is absolutely terrible!! I’ve going to them through the VA Community Care Program. I gave them my VA authorization number to use for billing. They also asked for my other insurance information, which I gave them. They have been billing my Blue Cross insurance the entire time and I have been getting bills. I don’t owe them a thing!!! I have called and called and gotten no where.
