We have stayed here every year for the past 5 years and we always enjoy it. Great location right down town and the unique rooms have beautiful beams and wood work. Every room is huge with a separate living area, kitchenette, and bedroom.
Unique Experience in So Many Ways Our second stay here. 3 nights this time and we slept fine even with trains. Suite on 3rd floor was fantastic with 2 bathroom sinks and wet bar. Plenty of room. Nice high ceilings. Really unique decor. Also, commons areas throughout the place. Staff were all outstanding in their friendliness and accommodation. Nice view of the river. Very nice, clean hotel. Have stayed here a couple of times, and we really enjoy it. We have family 5 minutes down the road so this location is ideal for us.
The Jackson Park Inn of Pulaski, Virginia, is a jewel in an unlikely setting. Pulaski was once a thriving railroad and manufacturing town in Southwest Virginia. Like many such towns in rustbelt America, Pulaski has fallen on hard economic times. The town is trying hard to stage a comeback, and I for one, wish it well. Pulaski's walkable downtown has so much potential, and even in its slightly bedraggled state, it exudes a certain charm.
