Most experienced climbing guides you will find, many of them world class climbers. Safety & your comfort are job 1 and they put you through an excellent training program if you are inexperienced. Know that if you are not "in shape" you are putting yourself and guide in danger. You should, at least, be able to run 5 miles before you arrive. Or trail run a mile moderately uphill and run back (down). At least.
We had an absolutely mind blowing, unforgettable experience climbing with our guide, Keith! He was a perfect teacher, very encouraging, super helpful, highly skilled, has a wealth of knowledge, and is remarkably kind. We had so much fun, even my mother of 59 years had the time of her life climbing for the first time ever, and she went higher than she ever thought she could! I couldn't imagine a more fantastic outdoor experience. Worth every penny!!!

Getting to the top of the Grand Teton is an adventure I’ll never forget. I felt that all the info JHMG sent in the months leading up to the climb really set me up for success. And then from the time we met at the trailhead to when we returned four days later, I felt well taken care of and extremely well communicated with by our guide, Chris. He was consistently encouraging and concise with all his instructions while making the entire adventure super fun.
