If you are a hiker and are looking to stretch your abilities under the supervision of experts than JHMG is the company for you. We hired them for Disappointment Peak and Middle Teton and felt they supported us as we needed before and during the hike. We safely navigated both peaks and enjoyed fully our experience. Keep in mind this will cost you some dollars, energy, and soreness. For us it was worth every penny. Would love some day (monies and time willing) to do another trek with them. We shall see.

Our guide Joe Pinner was AMAZING. He was professional, knowledgeable, helpful - everything you want out of a guide. There is no way we would have summitted Gannett Peak without his expertise. He was also a pleasure to hang out with on the trip. We even chatted about having him be our guide for another trip. Highly recommend Jackson Hole Mountain Guides!

Bottom line up front: 5/6 guides I've had from JHMG have been amazing. This review is primarily about the office. I've been on two trips with JHMG, to the Grand and Granite Peak. Both times, the office has been a complete let down. The first trip, one of our guides had an emergency and had to go back down. The office sent up a guide that was completely unprepared for the trip. It may have been a manner of no one else being available, but this persons unpreparedness led to me feeling unsafe. I booked a Grand Teton summit climb through Jackson Hole Mountain Guides and was very pleased with my experience. Excellent, responsive communication prior to the trip with lots of helpful videos and packings lists so I knew what to expect and felt prepared. My guide was Guda (Rebecca Yaguda) and she did an incredible job leading and teaching me. Fantastic experience with JHMG. Guides were knowledgeable, experienced, safe, and fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking for guided adventure! To note, our guides were Ben and Ryan, and they were phenomenal.
