I would give them zero stars if I could. Jackson Hewitt did my taxes for me in April. Thank God I had a discount coupon. My taxes are pretty straight forward. Single with a house so I have a few deductions. $299!!!!! OMG Never again. Be careful when choosing a tax service. Ask about pricing up front. Next year I will be going back to ***** ******

Filed a return for 2022 and the preparer botched the State taxes portion. I wound up owing money and the Jackson Hewitt "office" closest to me closes up shop after tax season. The other offices I was advised I could go to are all over a hundred miles from my residence. They referred me to an office in **************** to obtain a copy fo my return and you can't through to them. The State should not permit them to operate in this area if they have no representatives available after tax season to assist a person with any probl... read more

I have a rejected tax return that Jackson Hewitt prepared for me I paid $25.00 for the quarantee that if anything happened they take care of it. I cannot access my account and I have sent and even called and no one can help me. I cannot fix my return because I cant get into my account and if I go through another company I am afraid I will get tax fraud.
