Though the person who took care of my wife and me was very knowledgeable and professional, I'll never use Jackson Hewitt's services again. This was the first time I've ever paid to have my taxes done and the last. The amount charged for a simple return was ridiculous. Close to 4 hundred paid for a refund of less than a thousand....and that wasn't receiving a loan from them. Back to doing my own taxes!!!
For some odd stupid reason they give you all of these papers in the packet when you get your taxes done. mysteriously there is no sr-10w40 tax form with the line for line information and deductions available. so now when I'm attempting to file a certificate of error with the Cook County assessor's office I don't have my actual tax return from Jackson Hewitt. Out of all of the things to add in this thick packet full of papers why on Earth would you not include the actual tax return that you performed?
