Did my taxes for the first time here. I would say confidently that this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Got a letter in the mail saying the state tax was wrong, then I brought it to them and explained to the site manager Melissa. I was expecting a return but was told I had to pay over a $1000. I’ve never had to pay taxes before. They called me two days later and said that they had made a mistake but that the amount I needed to pay was correct and I needed to just pay it. The staff are very nice.i think they charge to much to process your taxes though. But the only issue I had was back in 2021 my fee was rejected so when I did my taxes in 2024 it came up so we had to take care of it but the owner said he wouldn't charge us the whole price since it's been this long but they didn't mark it taken care of so it came up again this year so we had to pay on 2021 again so they can do our taxes that is the only problem I have with them
We are paying close to $700 for our taxes to be filled and the lady that filed them misspelled my name on every single form. So now we have to wait for them to be rejected and file again. Due to the hours of operation we will have to miss even more work to go sign for everything again. This time we will insist on verifying every single form ( we were not giving the option to the first time). I will find a more competent company to file with next year.
Truly fantastic service. After using H&R Block for years, I'd finally had enough and decided to seek out a friendlier, more secure tax preparer (H&R Block had way too much information leaked.) I found JH and never looked back. Melissa handled my taxes with ease in spite of how complicated they were, and the fees were much more reasonable than at other tax companies in the area.
So fast, friendly and quiet. A great experience overall and we didn’t even get a refund. lol!
