I was concerned during my visit with my Jackson Hewitt representative because she spent a great percentage of our encounter on the phone with apparently another coworker needing her help. At least two separate calls lasting a long time. I came pretty close to getting up and leaving the Walmart booth. She spent zero time explaining how she arrived at what I owed the IRS and honestly I am in doubt whether her calculations were even accurate. Dont use them. What they advertise the $59,95 is incorrect. I was charged $300 because I had a 1095A form. The form says you dont have to have it but jackson hewitt demanded it. This is how jackson hewitt rips ppl off because they dont tell you this until after you file. Then when you have done all paper work you cant decline. I went to the district office on 5th street and asked the mngmt about it. She explained it wasnt their little offices it is their corporate office that is doing it
