Minus stars. I had to pay cash. Wrong address was used for filing. Preparer was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Used profanity, shared stories about her conviction husband, did not offer a review of my return. I’ve asked for a refund which has not happened as of yet.
My accountant was amazing and highly recommend to anyone. BUT.. Jackson Hewitt as a company is a LIE. They promised me $149 flat out for new customers filing & AFTER I filed with them they charged me an extra $69 state fee. They’ve done it now to multiple people. I paid $218 total. I could’ve easily done my taxes on my own. I don’t recommend this company. They’re liars, and charge you extra.
