This was my first time using a professional preparer to do my taxes and I was extremely disappointed. Outside of the general heartburn of doing taxes, this was especially a slow burn. My household taxes are not complicated, we are two W-2 earners with no special circumstances. We booked the 60 minute option with a preparer, which sounded appealing compared to the several hours we typically spend doing it ourselves at home.
