Last year in SoCal I had GREAT service with Jackson Hewitt. Couldn’t be happier with the tax preparer. Provided excellent guidance on what to claim and what was reasonable, as my taxes are a little complex due to Rideshare and DoorDash income. Here in NorCal I did NOT have the same experience. The preparer did not give ANY insight into my taxes this year and provided extremely basic service for $650. I literally for that price could have retained an actual CPA.
