I have been using Dr. Aaron Wilfert of Jackson County Veterinary Clinic since he opened in Edna (lost track of the years!). I can't say enough great things about him and his staff. As an owner of quite a few animals, I have seen Dr. Wilfert and staff on a regular basis and I feel like we have been through almost everything possible! They have gone above and beyond for me and I feel very blessed that our small town of Edna has such an amazing, highly intelligent, skilled Veterinarian. We have not used Jackson County Vet for medical veterinary services but did attempt to use them for boarding (and were considering using them for veterinary services). We made an appointment for boarding on a Tuesday and when we showed up, were told that they close on Wednesday at noon so we would not be able to pick up our dog until Thursday. This was never told to us in advance (apparently we were supposed to have their hours memorized ourselves). We did not want our dog to stay an extra day/night in a cage needlessly yet ... read more
