I bought a ticket to his painting class, which he then canceled. In March trying to be understanding of his finances rather than demanding my money back I paid him more ($150 total) for a painting of my deceased dog. He never did it so I asked for a refund May 10th. Now it’s July and he still hasn’t given me my money back. Don’t bother going to him he just steals your money

DO NOT BOOK. Owner takes you money then day of has some excuse why he can't keep it. Says the transformer blew, he is sick, always something. Then when you request to reschedule or get a refund he has no response. He is a scammer and has done this to numerous people!

Booked a class for March 11th for a friend and I. Showed up and the lights were off and doors were locked, called the number and Jack said he emailed me about the cancellation (never got an email) some electrical issue. Here we are almost a month later and still no refund in sight. I have went back and forth through email and he has every excuse in the book and promises a refund. He still has events scheduled so I’m sure he still doing it to more people. Do not give him your money!

Looks like im not the only person whos been scammed by Jack Hasselaar 🤔 I had scheduled this class a week in advance and received confirmation of the scheduled class. When I arrived the lights were off doors locked; the business phone number was disconnected. I reached out to jack to see what was going on since I didn't receive any notice the class was cancelled, no note on the door or anything on either of the business websites.
