Not sure why the comment from the owner is there. I have been to the store and I did not have a good experience. I prefer Blank Slate or even Dairy Queen if you want ice cream in Brighton!
A friend and I were at Brighton Imagination Station one evening a couple of months ago and the kids wanted ice cream/custard. So we walked over to Jackie's not realizing they were closing, and the owner and a teen girl were literally locking the door to leave. We thought they would just say, "no, sorry, we're closed," but instead, they opened back up and were patient with our kids as they decided what they wanted. This place has gone down hill since the family has sold to Jackie. Sad to see place go downhill once sold.
I love this place, yum! Hint of bleach in my cream.
