I will only take my car to Jacks. After years of dealing with the wrong mechanic I’m happy I found a great trustworthy place to go.
I will not take my car back to Jacks! Went in for something that was supposed to take 2 hours to fix. Five hours and hundreds of dollars later I finally left. They accidentally broke something on the car but I was responsible for having them replace and fix it. The wrong part was ordered so had to wait even longer for the correct part to arrive. I’ve gone to Jacks for 5 years and they have become very unreliable of late. They have adopted an attitude of we are too busy to care. I dropped a tire of to be patched and pick it up to take it to another shop after waiting 2 days for them to patch it. I won’t ever use them again due to poor customer service.
Normally they do pretty great. I did have an issue with an evap leak and had to pay to fix their original “fix” with the dealer. But for some reason today the two main guys just seemed super aggravated and annoyed with me, which there was no reason to be. I went in for a tire rotation and oil change. I guess because I mentioned I needed two tires but was going to wait it set them off? Overall, with having to pay to fix something they could have fixed properly to begin with and poor attitude this time, I wont be back.
