The best Speech Pathologist private practice I've encountered.
I've been taking my son to see Jackie My land for the past three years for speech therapy services. For two of those years he has worked with Jackie and for the past year with her associate Lauren Glinsky. Both are excellent speech therapists. They have been working on his expressive and receptive language skills, pragmatic,, social communication skills vocabulary and some articulation issues. I would highly recommend Jackie My land and Associates. As a bonus, she takes my insurance!
Highly do not recommend. This office portrays themselves as fluency specialists to help with stuttering, which they have no certification for. Hopefully there are some things that they do well but fluency is not one of them. They used therapies that set my son back in the progression of his stuttering disorder and should never be used for stuttering. They also used an iPad with my son to play games like plants vs. zombies. There are many other fun ways to practice speech that are more developmentally appropriate for children... read more
