I recently took my 8 year old son (who is very anxious about the dentist) to see the NEW dentist, Dr. Jane Katherine Jones. I can not say enough about the quality of care and the exceptional bedside manner that Dr. Jane had with my son. She kept my son at ease throughout the entire visit and not only did he leave without any tears, he left with a smile on his face! I would highly recommend Dr. Jane!
We just had our first dentist appointment for our son and had the best experience with Dr. Jones! Can’t wait to make this our dental home! Everyone was so friendly and took wonderful care of him!
We recently moved from Dr. Banahan's practice to a much better practice that my husband and I have seen since moving to Lexington 10 years ago. If your kids don't have anxiety about the dentist, they will after having any procedure done here. Our daughter is now absolutely terrified of the dentist, to the point we will have to give her Xanax before her next appointment. This is all because she had a cavity filled by Dr. Banahan. It is one of the worst places that treat you with disrespectful, they humiliate you... The lady in the front desk is the worst.
I would leave 0 stars if I could. I only used this dentist office because my son is special needs and has sensory issues and has very high anxiety at any dr. appointments. I even mentioned this on the paper work before there appt and when we got there. The staff was very nice, but I'm once we saw the dentist, she put my child in a head lock basically and didn't even talk to him the whole time to comfort him.
