The first two reviews must be talking about a different company. My experience with Jackfork Land was superb. They are professional and more than fair. They could have excercised an option on my current lease for much less than market value, but gave me the current market value instead. I was paid almost $3000 dollars more than I would have got if they had just used the option on the existing lease. I would highly recommend them.
Wonderful! I leased with them and they not only paid a very good bonus, but they paid quickly. Their field landman spent almost half and hour helping me understand a problem with my mineral ownership and how to fix it. And, when they drilled on my property the site was very small, clean, and well contained. Then the royalty checks started arriving. I would recommend doing business with them anytime.
A big MINUS 500 Stars!!! JACKFORK LAND, INC. appears to be just as described in previous rating. They offer you an unacceptable amount per acre for underground gas storage and in the same letter say if you don't sign by a certain date (1 week from the date of their rude letter) that they "will pursue other methods, ie. regulatory action and/or condemnation proceedings." Jackfork Land grab company specializes in taking what is not theirs. They don't want to buy or lease your property. They simply want to "own" the rights to it in perpetuity. They offer a token payment for "worthless" property in exchange for a "perpetual " easement. If you don't take their offer, they threaten you with eminent domain proceedings in court.
