Dr. Jack Erter is phenomenal. His staff are caring and compassionate. Dr. Erter is not only an excellent oncologist, he’s a friend to all of his patients. He truly cares. Thank you for caring and being passionate in what you do in saving lives and keeping family’s together.
Stood across the room in the corner with his arms crossed and spoke as if he were giving a college lecture. Instead of a follow up visit and a direction to go his assistant called and basically said the numbers were too low to do anything - come back if I needed anything else. I DID need something else! Dr. Erter aloud my mom to continue taking a preventative drug knowing it wasn’t working. Her numbers jumped in May and doubled in July. My mom is now in the hospital awaiting surgery. Her surgery could have taken place much earlier had she not taken the drug in August. He never explained anything to us nor to the other doctor. Her preventative drug had to be out of her system 6-8 weeks before any surgery can be done. Her last treatment was Aug. 2 and she’s been in the hospital since Aug. 16.
Dr Erter explained all my options for chemo treatments in a way that I could understand and what to expect. He took the time to answer all my questions .He was on top of all my chemotherapy treatments and made sure that I was comfortable as possible after treatments I would highly recommend Dr Erter.
Patient for 5+ years. Extreme confidence in newest treatments. Satisfied that I am receiving best care available in the US.
