Interesting place to visit, I didn't know it was a bit like a zoo. I think more ecological information about birds would be good, although I recognize the focus is on the life of Jack Miner. Peacocks, turkeys, and more
I come here more often than I’d like to admit, and I tell everyone I know that they need to visit. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and it’s so clear how loved and well cared for all of the birds are. The amount of time, effort, and care that has gone into this place definitely has not gone unnoticed. Also, make sure you stop and say hi to the female turkey in the pen with the two males she is the sweetest girl ever.
Came just before closing (I know) and the host was able to accomodate us. Mind you, they aren't a paid tour so entertaining us was completely on their own time. We had a blast and learned so much. What amazing information for an area we knew about but never actually visited. Will come again for sure!
