Smaller than I expected however a great place to teach kids about the importance of conservation and kindness towards wildlife. There is a fenced in pond area that protects waterfowl that have deformities or aging so they can live their lives out in peace. Great trail system across the road to explore.
Absolutely love this place, my family and I love feeding the birds and that it's free to do so. They house so many injured birds that live there permanently if they cannot migrate with the rest. The rest of the birds are free to come and go as they please. Jack miner hosts multiple events a year and they have a public bathroom.
