Whoever took over this practice is negligent. My husband and I had checkups in July 2024 and went to refill meds February 2025, had no patient records on us, refused to refill meds, no longer accept our insurance! I’m bewildered not ONE notice from them and now we are urgently searching for a new primary care Dr. The new staff to include the office manger are rude, unhelpful and she hung up on me. They got me an appt very quickly. Very friendly and professional
We are so pleased with Elizabeth she takes her time, is very professional, compassionate and extremely smart. She knows here profession and explains every. During our visit she stops typing, makes eye contact and explains her course of action. In all our years we have never been so pleased with a care provider.
When my world seemed as though it was collapsing with my husband having AFIB diagnosis, I needed clarification of medical terms and procedures his Gainesville Cardiologist was conducting. My phone message was promptly returned by Tony DiCarlo, PA he has seen for many years while Dr. Matheny, MD remains his Primary Physician. Doctor Matheny's practice is really a number of doctors, medical assistants, and nurse practitioners working out of a common facility. The question becomes are they employees or subcontractors? The primary motivation seems to be a reduction of office expenses. In 7 years, I never had a complete physical. I have primarily dealt with 1 MD, 1 medical assistant, and 1 nurse practitioner. Ignore the negative fake reviews clearly aimed by competitors. Matheny hasn't worked here in years they maintain the name. great staff and providers.
Worse doctor and staff ever. They don’t care about you and he is Always to busy at the nursing home. His staff is very Rude.
Dr Jack Matheny never listens to health problems. I have never had a physical exam since I've been there. The hospital said I had a infection. He did nothing..I told him I felt a lump above left calar bone. He did nothing..I told him I felt something in my rectum. He did nothing..I have a lot of health issue that are very concerning..He has told me that he can only do so much for me because if he does what he should do is affard that the insurance will cut him off..He cares more about the money then the needs of his customer... read more
