Best place to be on a sunny relaxing day.
Very cool little spot by the water. Had a very nice evening there. Enjoyed a good dinner by the water on the outside deck of Scott's Restaurant. I would visit again if I'm ever back that way.
One of me, my husband and my dog's favorite hangout spots after a long arduous work week. The best restaurants are all walking distance and the people we see whether walking, working or playing all seem to be friendly and courteous. There is so much to do to keep you entertained. We just love being a part of Jack London Square.
Jack London Square has anything you want. In the mood for a romantic dinner? In the mood for a little pizza and bowling? Wanna grab a coffee and look at the beautiful boats docked at the piers? Wanna grab a chocolate treat and walk around the harbor? Various stores to windows hope or do some serious retail therapy as well. Plenty of parking always helps as well.
It's nice place to hang around and for dinner. Little expensive but worth spending time over there. It's very clean place!!
Where we caught the Ferry to get over to San Francisco and where we took the boys bowling and dining during my 6 month consultant assignment.
Loved it, but Jack London's cabin does not look well. It looks sickly after seeing the other half in Dawson City.
As a child my parents brought me to the Square to watch trains while reading books at the old Barnes & Noble. I have a life-long love affair of JLS. Twenty years later I keep the tradition alive bringing my little ones here to enjoy the romance of railroading. The bookstore, village and museums are now gone, but the Square has never lost its charm or magic. This place is truly a gem of Oakland.
Beautiful view and we enjoyed the farmers market. There's not much to do unless you want to just hold hands and enjoy the scenery. I would not recommend eating at The Plank though. They struggled making chicken wings and a simple vodka cranberry drink
