We learned about Jack and his photography after my cousin did a shoot with her dog. I fell in love with his signature flying through the air shots and knew they were a perfect way to capture our most agile and athletic Willow. One giant hurdle though (pun intended) - We live and Northern Alberta. I told Jack before I told my own family that we were going to road trip with her across the country. I am completely in awe of Jack's work. He captured my senior dog, Beaker, in all the ways I see him and have never been able to document myself in 15 years together. I was there for the entire process and still have no idea how Jack did it. It's like magic. The images he made are treasures that fill my soul with joy. I cannot express how much I enjoyed working with him. If you're on the fence, take the leap.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jack on July 8 at 5:30 a.m. at Cherry Beach. I had not one, but both of my fur babies with me for this photoshoot, and Jack was more than willing to take them both on! I have to admit, I was a bit of a bundle of nerves. With two big boys, I wasn’t quite sure how they would behave or how the morning would unfold. Jack calmly reminded me, “Let them be dogs,” and in that moment, I knew we were in the best hands.
