I discovered a.differential leak and control arms issues, and android connection isues in my cpo xc60 bought in 2025. Called Great Neck Service and got Jackie, Service Mgr. She put me at complete ease. She is genuine, professional, and a superb listener who put me at ease. I live far from the Service Dept. She got a Lyft ride home and kept me up to speed on the repair progress and even got me a ride back to pick up the fixed car. Even got a free detailing outside/inside haha. Do not be fooled by the pretentious customer focused philosophy of this dealership. They are all about selling cars to the extent they do not disclose everything the buyer needs to know before the purchase. WE recently purchased a car, the dealership's advertised price was not the sale price on the windshield. They added "fees" to the price that was cleverly and obscurely displayed on their website. Yesterday, my 2025 Volvo XC90 was towed by Volvo Roadside Assistance to this dealership because the vehicle was shaking and felt unsafe to drive. The service department was closed, and the sales manager, Bobby, told me to mention his name in the morning so I could receive a loaner. The entire experience of car buying was made easier and actually pleasant due to the excellent customer service and professionalism of Chandler and Evan. Their knowledge and explanation of the functions of our new car in user friendly terms was greatly appreciated. Beverly in the service department is definitely an assest. Although going to a car dealership is not typically a fun experience, Jay Youngblood at Volvo Athens made my experience buying a car a very good one. He helped me find a plug in Volvo (XC 60) with all of the newer safety features. Since I am 73 and haven’t had a new car in 13 years, I really didn’t know how to work anything.
