Bought cord of firewood, most of it was rotted on the bark side with insect holes it appeared to have been decaying before it was cut and split. The lengths were irregular. It burns too fast because it is not seasoned firewood but rather salvaged from yards as Problem tree removal. Not what I expected from past dealings with this company. Will ask for "green" wood next time, but not from here. I had to send back about a pickup load because of the rotten wood. Will not be coming back.
so my wife decided to surprise me today and pick up some fire wood from Jack Frost . Well guess that was a bad idea . Your customer service with the woman at your front counter leaves ALOT to be desired . After feeling belittled and and giving the run around about the pricing of your firewood she was instructed to go out back and get some . Again not being told how much it was or the price per bundle or anything . DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Jim and I just had the worst experience picking up soil from this place. They close at 5:00 PM and we showed up to get just 1 cubic yard of soil at 4:50. I'm never a person to show up somewhere just before it closes but it's the fastest we could get there after borrowing a truck from my dad. The man inside the shop was already counting the money in the drawer and made us feel bad for even asking to run a credit card. He sighed and was talking about how it was "bad timing"... read more
