Dr. Chen has been a life saver — literally! He’s smart, diligent, and advocates for me. I’m so grateful to have him walking along this journey with me. It’s stressful and scary but he has helped me manage with his dedication, research, and thoroughness.
I have little confidence in Dr Chen. He didn’t follow through with action items and he had to be reminded of our previous conversations. I felt incredibly unsupported and unheard. I sent him reminders and action items before my recent visit so we could spend time talking about treatment plan, but he didn’t read what I sent. He kept trying to convince me that an orthopedic was the solution. I can’t even imagine moving forward with this doctor.
Dr.Chen never saw me before stopping my meds I had been on for several years. He said my liver enzymes were elevated. Since then I have a top notch rheumatologist and both she and my primary doctor said my liver is fine. Dr Chen is uncompassionate and will let a person suffer without a care.
Update*** He told me I didn’t have psoriasis, even though I’ve had it since I was a child. My second opinion rheumatologist diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis. The front office and nurse were great. He spent 30 minutes with me and told me he didn’t see anything wrong with me. He said he’d order blood tests but that I should see a neurologist, eye doctor, dermatologist and my primary care. There were inaccuracies in his chart note as well. Steer clear.
He was thorough in his explanations of what his department does and educating what the possibilities could be. He also ordered tests on first visit
