It's wonderful to be able to receive cancer support regardless of where you receive treatment. I received cancer support from Jacaranda Lodge 20 years ago, and although I'm currently receiving treatment at a different hospital, my daughter found out that I can receive support at Jacaranda Lodge, and since it's easily accessible by car, it's been a great help.
The Jacaranda lodge is within the Sydney Adventist hospital grounds. It is about one minute walk from accommodation to the hospital entry (level two). My wife and I had a warm welcome and were shown about: laundry (free, bring powder), gym, kitchen (fully kitted out), and room. The room had everything a motel had. It was very warm and comfortable. While the picture are not of the lodge, it shows just how great the hospital is and what they do.
Loved our stay at Jacaranda Lodge. Starting from our booking of the accommodation (staff very kind, courteous and professional) to arriving (again we were greeted with a smile and kind words). The room was clean and tidy and our air con was already on so it was so lovely to just come into a refreshing (cool) room after our long drive from Melbourne we recommend Jacaranda Lodge 100%
What a blessing, I was so grateful for this facility while my husband was in hospital, we live in Port Stephens so the comute was unreasonable, I was told to stay here, what a treat, very lovely Thank you.
Peaceful, good location and parking nearby. A well equippes kitchen.
