I was so lucky to have Dr Bignami covering L&D at St Joseph when I was delivering my baby. She was so supportive of my choices and when I thought I couldn’t do it any more she was so positive and uplifting. I have a knot in my throat just thinking about how much she helped me. When baby’s heart rate was decelerating she told me calmly but firmly what we needed to do and cheered me on to get it done. Dr. Bignami is amazing! I was a nervous wreck during my first pregnancy and her confidence and patience helped me so much. Although she wasn’t able to deliver my baby, she was there in the hospital checking in on me up until the very end. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OBGYN who cares and doesn’t treat you like just another number. Her colleagues were great as well. Office staff is friendly.
The office staff here is the worst! They failed to tell me ahead of time to make my 20wk ultrasound appt, because of that I have an appt but at 22wks, 2 weeks late! Prior to that they did not send my order to the office, I had to call them and remind them to send it over ahead of my appt. Due to these experiences I have decided to switch hospitals and asked them to release my medical records. And of course when sending everything over they left out my ultrasound pictures.
