We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend in the mome rath room. The property is beautiful and close to Cannery Row. Downtown Monterey is about a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive away, so this is a very convenient location. The breakfasts and evening hors d'oeuvres are great, better than a lot of restaurants. Bed was super comfy. I think the only issue we had was that other people’s footsteps, door shutting, etc. are very audible. We had a wonderful stay at Jabberwock Inn. Rick and Dorothy were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the inn. Rick's advice on local attractions and places to eat was super helpful. We stayed in the Toves room, which was wonderful with its jacuzzi tub and outdoor private seating area. Breakfast was delicious.
A Whimsical "Mini-Moon" at the Jabberwock Inn! We spent our mini-moon at the Jabberwock Inn, and it was a magical experience. We stayed in the Mome Rath room, which was lovely and fit perfectly with the inn's charming Alice in Wonderland theme.The hospitality was top-notch. A lovely bed and breakfast. Dorothy was very kind, helpful, and communicative as were the owners. The Inn provides a beautiful view of the ocean and is within walking distance to the beach and aquarium. The walls are a bit thin, but the experience is made up for with the quality, thoughtfulness, and charm this stay provides.
Our stay at the Jabberwock Inn was just what we needed. The location, the room especially, and the service were everything we hoped for. The breakfasts were also delicious and the Inn itself was amazing - ornately decorated with an Alice in Wonderland theme, and everything with a story behind it. The hosts are super friendly and we would definitely stay there again!
