I stumbled across this b&b while looking for somewhere to stay within walking distance of the aquarium, and was intrigued by the name. The Jabberwock Inn was absolutely enchanting, and offers so much more than your regular hotel experience at a comparable price. Rick and Suzanne went above and beyond to help ensure my partner and I's first stay in Monterey was a trip to be remembered. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed and more. Their breakfasts were delicious, and it's in a very walk-able area. I hope to be back.
I recently spent (3) nights at Jabberwock Inn while on a west coast road trip. The proximity to Big Sur was my primary reason for selecting the area as well as the walkability of the location. I was able to spend a full day visiting the highlights of Big Sur. The next day I enjoyed biking around the Monterey peninsula, checking out the many coves, beaches, tidal pools, the lighthouse, etc. My final morning I enjoyed the aquarium. We recently stayed at Jabberwock Inn to celebrate our anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rick is an amazing host. He shared some fun stories, information and recommendations. Breakfast each morning was so delicious! Rick and Dorothy took great care to make sure our needs were met, including any dietary needs.
