TLDR: use literally ANYONE else. Hiring J&A Electrical Construction LLC ended up costing me roughly double their bill to fix all of their shoddy work. Pros: - did not burn my house down Cons: - Almost always late and does not shut/lock doors - Does not inspect his own work and coincidentally neglected to include the 10+ outlets he cut/installed (missing a required wire - did NOT work) on his Inspector LLC inspection - Does not take notes and will lose the notes you provided him requiring you to micro manage him/assistants as... read more

Contacted J&A Aug 2 22 about install and asked whether parts are on backorder. Was told only batteries which take about 10 days. Signed the contract Aug 4 22. Sept 6 22 was told they sent the permit application to my town but that they said I don't live in that town. Never asked me and sent it to the wrong town. The correct town finally got it 20 Sept 22. Nov 11 22 was told the ground mount for the array was still not in. They made arrangements for install and didn't show up 4 times, never told me they weren't coming. Ground... read more
