Edit 12/22/25: I had to reach out to bestbuy's geek squad for assistance. It took a while since their initial technician could not fix it. Their senior technician got it to work for me, for the time being. Moral of the story is, I recommend not getting this product if you have a macbook. And if you do need assistance, reach out to geek squad for help as j5 create's technicians were not of any help. I will definitely be look for better adaptors.
