I connected with Josh via Thumbtack. And with very few photos, his understanding of my vision helped me to select him for my office renovation. Josh built TX-size custom shelving and cabinets based on a photo I showed him. I recommend him for your project but please be patient and trust the process because everything is done by hand… Communication, transparency, and attention to detail were all effective in this project.

Josh is pleasant and knowledgeable. HOWEVER, we gave him a $1500.00 deposit two months ago. We do not have our custom cabinet, and he ignores our texts, emails, and phone calls. My husband went to the business; he says it was trashed with no visible signs of work happening. The business site is closed. Josh is apparently now working out of his house. Looks like we're out $1500.00. We chose him over other companies because he seemed like a nice, young family man (he supposedly has five children). We checked Yelp and Google re... read more

Josh at J&W Woodworks excels in craftsmanship. I wanted a statement piece to hold my records and record player and he delivered a showstopper! Josh is exceptionally skilled and uses great quality materials. Their customer service is outstanding, with dedication to your vision and working with you transparently and honestly.
