The owner John swapped out a new transmission for me three years ago on my 2001 Honda Accord for about $750 (labor) and did a fantastic job. It’s still running smooth. He’s done other repairs for me on that car and my daughter’s CRV and he does great work for a very reasonable price. A friend who has lived here a very long time referred me to him and I’m glad she did!

Ms. Tina was absolutely the best! Took our daughters car in because she had trouble on the way back to campus. They diagnosed the problem, gave us a price and had it fixed the next day! I read about them in the SFA Parent group, and I understand all the positive reviews because we experienced it ourselves. Great service and reasonablely priced. Thank you, Blanton Auto Repair for being a great asset to the Nacogdoches and SFA community!

I would like to say if you need your vehicle repaired this is the absolute the best place in the Nacogdoches area to have service your mechanical problem with your vehicle. Especially if you are a college student. You will not be disappointed. The staff is very honest, nice and professional. You will be very pleased.

A rare find in the auto repair business. I was in a tough spot with my Ford Explorer’s transmission, and John (owner) took the time to diagnose the issue instead of just quoting me for a new transmission. He called to let me know that a fluid change plus a Lubegard conditioner was all it needed, saving me nearly $6,000 compared to the full transmission rebuild I was bracing for and that other shops were quoting me.
