I had a salon cancel on me (Craft Society). I had to reschedule a hair appointment, then moved it back with Craft Society, only for them to cancel on me after I had made the trip to Kalispell for it. J. Thomas got me in on the same day and did an amazing job. It was a bit pricey, but you def get what you pay for. I will be coming back!
Robert Prescott is an absolute doll. He's warm, engaging, funny, and empathetic and amazing at what he does. I took the plunge to chop off my hair and do something edgier for summer, and I love the cut he did. He delivered exactly what I asked for and I love it. His pricing is laid out ahead of time and he offers discounts for prepaying, which I found really helpful. Easy the best experience I've had with a barber/salon, hands down. I can't recommend Robert and J. Thomas Salon enough. He really look the time to understand what I wanted, balanced that with what my hair needed, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the result. I can't imagine going anywhere else, and I'm recommending them to everyone I meet.
Initially I never planned on giving a bad Google Review, but I honestly do not want others to be scammed and be taken advantaged of by Robert Prescott. After my negative experience, I spoke to others who informed me that Robert has asked them to prepay in full for a “discount” and that they as well had partial/unfinished hair service due to Robert’s sudden cancellations, showing up late to appointments, and continuously rescheduling other people’s appointments with him.
