There are truly no words big enough for the gratitude we feel for Dr. Gerstle. We traveled from Nebraska to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for our daughter’s care after a complicated abdominal tumor diagnosis. How do you adequately express gratitude for a physician who saved your child’s life? It feels almost impossible to capture in words. Our son was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in February of this year. After several rounds of chemotherapy, the tumor decreased in size, but not enough for surgeons at our hospital in Ohio to feel confident proceeding with surgery. Just found this website...Dr Gerstle is truly a miracle worker. My daughter is now 15 and when born she was missing body parts, thanks to Dr Gerstle she is all better and no problems anymore. There are truly no words for how amazing Dr. Gerstle is. My 3 year old son Levi has high risk neuroblastoma and Dr. Gerstle recently performed 2 major surgeries on him. The first surgery was to remove the main tumor as well as cancerous lymph nodes/tissue, and the second surgery was to remove the 2 tumors inside of his pancreas (had less than half of his pancreas removed) as well as his spleen and surrounding lymph nodes.
